Birria is great, but i really love the carnitas plate with buche 10/10 , overall the place is really good.
This is our New Favorite Menuderia, it can definitely get a little busy on the weekends BUT it's so worth the wait! We've tried both the Red & Green Menudo & both were Beyond Delicious, not only are they tasty they have plenty of meat not just hominy. They bring you plenty of the toppings & will always graciously provide you more of anything you need (we are big on lemon). They bring you tortillas and will offer you bolillo (WARM) also..... I had never had menudo with bolillo & boy was I missing out! Must Try! All the Salsa's are also very tasty I can't pick a favorite but LOVE the green one on the chips, they greet you with warm chips, also a very nice plus. We've also tried the Pozole and it was also very Delicious! Their seasoning on ALL their food is just Perfection. Their Birria is also BEYOND Delicious, I tried both the Beef & the Goat and both are finger licking good! And by default the QuesaBirria is AMAZING! We're trying to make our way threw the WHOLE Menu & so far so good.... haven't come across anything we don't like. It's a small place but Beyond Welcoming & everyone always has a friendly smile. I love the art work & colors that honestly makes it feel warm & cozy.
Service was fast and friendly! Food was awesome! The menudo took me back to when my mom used to cook it. The birria was also very tasty. What sealed the deal was the corn homemade tortillas! Thick and very fresh! No loud music so you could have a conversation. Try it! You'll like it!
Good service, local flavor, and amazing authentic Birria, tacos de lengua, tacos de chicharrón, micheladas, and for me café de olla. The corn tortillas are made by hand and you can taste the nixtamal. Wow. What a find!! Definitely coming back.
Is different good or bad ? In this situation it was excellent. Pork belly tacos was the answer. Pork was crispy and salty paired with a squeeze of lime and one of the spices sauce provided. Friend had a goat meat dish that looked tasty, was told it tasted great. The staff were fine got the food to the table but nothing too special. I did notice it was a bit noisy in side. People talking and staff be loud. It was some times hard to hear my friends. Try the pork belly tacos!!!!!!
